About NataschaNatascha has been singing all her life. She studied classically in her early teens but her love of musical theatre won out and she went on to earn her BA in Theatre at the State University of New York at Oswego.
After a two season residence in the house band at The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel in New England, she earned her Equity union card touring the U.S. Her pursuit of furthering her vocal education lead her to study personally with Jeannie Deva at the original Deva Voice Studios® in Boston, MA. Upon relocating to Los Angeles, she starred in many musical theatre productions throughout Southern California (for you musical theatre geeks - Chess, City of Angels, Man of La Mancha, Savin' Up for Saturday Night, Carnevil and others). As a singer/songwriter, she began performing her original music first acoustically and then as the front person for her band, The Natascha Corrigan Band. During that time she began her apprenticeship under Jeannie Deva. Natascha received her first level of certification in The Deva Method® in 2007 and has been teaching ever since. She teaches in-person in the Los Angeles area and worldwide via the internet. In addition to teaching, she currently rocks with the cover band L.A. Rhythm Crew, performs at private events and has been the vocal coach for the casts of many musicals at Hollywood Theater Row's critically acclaimed Sacred Fools Theater. Her love of singing has only deepened as a teacher, she often states teaching has made her a better singer. She firmly believes it is her job you make you an expert on your own voice, so you have complete mastery over your instrument and can perform with power and ease.
